What you'll learn: How one old photo becomes a talking film.
Bring Your Ancestor to Life turns one photo into a short film of them talking, with their voice and optional music. It costs 275 credits.
- Open the person's page, or Make a Keepsake, and choose Bring Your Ancestor to Life.
- Choose their voice. Pick one from our list for free, or describe how they sounded and we'll make three to choose from (50 credits a round).
- Turn Add music on or off.
- Start. Partway through, we'll ask you to pick your favorite of six portraits.
- Your film is ready in about 20 minutes. You can leave and come back. The Making now tray shows how it's going.
Your finished film is saved on their shelf in your Library.
Good to know: Photos of famous people can't be used. If we can't make the film for any reason, we tell you why and your credits come back.
